OSLC has started participating in the Great Lakes SCRIP program.  The Great Lakes Scrip Center acts on behalf of churches, schools, and other non-profit organizations to purchase large amounts of gift cards from grocery stores, department stores, and other retailers. Becasue the cards are purchased up front with cash, the retailers are willing to offer a substantial discount.  Then OSLC purchases the gift cards from Great Lakes Scrip Center at a discount, and re-sells the cards to families like yours at full face value.  The discount - ranging from 2-15 percent is Our Savior's to keep as revenue. 

The best part of using this program is that we don't have to sell anything, we as the members already make regular purchases at many of the places supported by this program and it is merely a matter of us planning ahead and purchasing gift cards in advance to us at our favorite retailers.

 For those of you who the fuel perks program through Giant Eagle, both Giant Eagle and GetGo are supported and you can even purchase gift cards with your Giant Eagle gift card purchased through Scrip at church. That way you can support the church in this program and still get the fuel perks you are used to .
